Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s much awaited film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ released nationwide today (June 02). During the promotions of the film, Sara Ali Khan had visited many religious places to seek blessings for the film. Recently, she had reached Ujjain to visit Mahakal. She was also present at the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ which takes place between 4 and 5:30 am in the morning. Pictures and videos from inside the temple premises were posted by Sara on her Instagram handle. But some online users are not happy with this visit and have criticized the actress fiercely.
Sara Ali Khan faces criticism for visiting Mahakaleshwar Temple
Sara Ali Khan visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Wednesday. Videos and pictures of the actress visiting Mahakal are doing the rounds on social media. While some people praised it, some online users trolled Sara fiercely.
one wrote, “It’s not Tourist place to allow non-hindus to Mahakaleshwar Mandir.”
Another wrote, “Why are Mus1ims being allowed in Mahakal temple? It is not a tourist place.”
“Non Hindus should be banned from entering our temples. That’s it . That’s the tweet,” wrote one of them.
Sara Ali Khan opens up on trolling
Sara Ali Khan has finally spoken out on all the criticism. She said that her faith is her personal matter and will continue to visit all the holy places without any fear.
During an interview with a famous portal, the ‘Gaslight’ actor said, “I have said this before and I’ll say it again. I take my work very seriously and I work for the audience and for you (the media). If you all don’t like my work, I’ll feel bad. But my personal belief is my personal matter. I’ll visit Ajmer Sharif with the same dedication as I’ll visit Bangla Sahib or Mahakal.”
She further added, “And, I’ll keep visiting. So, whoever wants to say anything about it, they can. I don’t have any problem. But, what’s most important is that no matter where you go, you should like its energy. I believe in energy,”
Sara Ali Khan’s co-star Vicky Kaushal also has his say on trolling. He said, “Questions are asked to those people who are trolled, who are going on with their lives. So, if a troll catches your attention as a big media house that’s legitimate and when you talk about them you give value to whatever they say. You should ask questions to trolls. The process needs to change.”
