Workout gives you that glow
Not a regular at gym, Pari likes to keep fit. In her own words, “I am not particularly fond of routines and the gym bores me. I don’t want to do the usual cardio and weights.”
She keeps a track of her fitness routine so she can stay healthy. “I make it a point that my fitness regime is a mix of everything. I usually hit the treadmill, go for a swim or just practise Kalaripayattu, a form of martial arts from Kerala. The key is to stay active, experiment with new forms, create a balance and find the motivation to workout regularly. Consistency is the key and while I am at it, I try to enjoy myself,” she shared.
Self care technique
Spas and massages are fine, but you must must find out what works best for you. Parineeti isn’t a spa-lover, but a hot shower destresses her. It is therapeutic as the skin actually releases endorphins in response to the warmth while improving your breathing as well.
“I am not a spa-lover like most girls generally are. So after a hard day’s work, my idea of de-stressing is having a hot shower,” she confirmed in an article.
For skincare, prevention is key
A good skincare routine is important even in young age to prevent future damage, like fine lines and wrinkles. Pari tries to make sure she’s doing what she can. “I literally had to wake up one day and tell myself that I have to start taking care of my skin because, while I am young today and can possibly get away with doing nothing, the damage is going to show five years later and that’s not something easy to ignore,” she shared.
Good haircare is important
Parineeti keeps changing her hair colour and style. She knows all this can damage her strands if she doesn’t take care of it. The actor “washes her hair often” which helps to keep her hair soft and nourished even if she has to use hairspray on the daily. Another must-have? Heat protectants, which create a barrier and smoothes the hair cuticle down.
Coloured eyeliner is fun
Nude eyeshadow, smoky eyes and a cat eye are fine, but a stroke of brightly coloured liner is fun. It makes you stand out. If you love blue eyeliner like Chopra, make sure to keep the rest of your skin bare, because a glossy base and nude lips will let it stand out best.
Parting makes her happy
Changing your hair part gives you a brand new look everytime. Pari frequently switches between a side and middle part, which helps her dramatically change up her look when needed, especially for film promotions. Plus, having the same part for an extended amount of time can cause breakage so it’s best to switch it up regularly.
Self-confidence is the key
Learn to be comfortable in your own skin. “I don’t think I’ll ever reach size zero. I don’t have the body structure for that, but I know I can look good and I’m working towards that. Basically, I would like to look my best,” she says.
