Shah Rukh Khan tests positive for Covid-19

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has tested positive for COVID-19, as per multiple media reports. While more details about Shah Rukh Khan’s condition is awaited, this comes days after the announced his next film Jawan to be directed by Atlee. He released a teaser showing his bruised face wrapped in a bandage. The film is scheduled to release in June 2023. The actor also shared a poster of the film on Saturday evening.

Sharing the first look poster of Jawan, Shah Rukh wrote, “It’s a special RC project that has seen its wait because of inevitable issues surrounding us.But a few good men worked hard & made it happen. Want to thank@_GauravVerma the Co-Producer,@Atlee_dir and their Jawans for making this dream come to life. Now… Good to go Chief…!”

Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has wished for the “fastest recovery” for Shah Rukh Khan, who happens the state brand ambassador.  

“Just came to know that our Brand Ambassador Shahrukh Khan has been detected covid positive. Pray fastest recovery for the superstar. Get well Shahrukh! Spring back asap!” she said in a tweet.

Earlier, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan and Aditya Roy Kapur have contracted the virus.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has a packed schedule. Apart from Jawan, the actor also has Pathaan and Dunki in his pipeline.
