Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, Bhediya 2 with Varun and Shraddha’s Stree 2 among new projects announced by Jio Studios

Jio studios on Wednesday organised a star-studded event in Mumbai to announce 100 new projects from its slate. From Aamir Khan to Kartik Aaryan and Mouni Roy to Disha Patani, many B-town celebs were seen gracing the red carpet.

Jio Studios announces new films

From Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki to  Shahid Kapoor’s Blood Daddy, a plethora of new ventures across genres and languages were announced by Jio Studios on Wednesday. Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, Bhediya 2 featuring Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s Zara Hatke, Zara Bachke and Dhoom Dhaam with Pratik Gandhi and Yami Gautam were also unveiled by Jio Studios in a social media post. 

R Madhavan-led Hisaab Barabar, Balckout featuring Mouni Roy and Vikrant Massey Vijay Sethupathi’s Hindi movie, Mumbaikar, The Storyteller with Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain, Taapsee Pannu and Arvind Swamy’s Empire among others are also included in the list.

New web series also on cards

The web series include Laal Batti, directed by Prakash Jha, Inspector Avinash, starring Randeep Hooda, Rafuchakkar, starring Maniesh Paul, and Divyanka Tripathi and A Legal Affair, starring Barkha Singh and Angad Bedi are also a part of line-up.

She said the studio’s aim is to tell stories “from, by and for India and Bharat”. “Our mission to make in India and show the world is vast and inclusive and will ensure the growth of the entire entertainment value chain. The future holds infinite possibilities, and this occasion marks a new chapter in our journey to give wings to the greatest stories ever told and champion the creative excellence of incredible storytellers,” Deshpande added .
