Shark Tank India: Srinivas and Anindrita Das came to present their company The Iris, the Pocket Microscope making company. They shared in their pitch that they made the product to increase the curiosity of children to know more about anything they want. Pitchers asked for 15 lakhs in the exchange of 10% equity in their company as their company was pre-revenue. Sharks were impressed by their pitch and they also got impressed by the specimen inside the microscope. Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh tried to see the specimen inside the microscope and they became happy.

Srinivas shared that he is 24 and currently pursuing engineering from Bengaluru. He told the USP of the product but sharks weren’t impressed with that and they said that the product is useless for market because no one is going to buy the pocket microscope. Ashneer Grover started slamming the pitchers. He said, “Gubbare wala dekha hai. Vo balloon ke sath sath apparatus bhi bechta hai baccho ke liye. Yeh gubbare wala product hai. Yeh gubbare ke thele pe bik sakta hai iski koi market nahi hai. Tu apni engineering poori karle teri zindagi sambhal jayegi tu pata nahi kaha beh gaya hai Kaunsi sadi mein jee raha hai.”
Ashneer Grover says ‘Main isko sehan nahi kar sakta’
He further added, “Jo tere professor ne tujhko diya tha agar tu usko hi thoda dhang se laga leta na ki main ek lens bana loon jo phone ke peeche lag jaaye aur uska microscope ban jaaye aur usse main video bhi le sakoon aur still photo bhi le sakoon phir bhi lagta hai ki kuch hai. Yeh toh gubbare se bubble nikalne ke barabar wala product hai. Mereko maaf karde…main aur sehan nahi kar sakta isko.”
