‘Shark Tank India’ fame Ashneer Grover is forthright in his opinion without mincing words. He does not hesitate to express his views in a frank manner. Many people call his outspokenness rude and insensitive while some people praise his straight forward attitude. On Thursday (June 22), a Twitter user named ‘Gabbar’ tweeted criticizing airport lounges, in response to which the former managing director of BharatPe tweeted on the airport lounge and called it “free meal scheme canteens”.

A Twitter account named ‘Gabbar’ tweeted, “Going to the Airport Lounge these days is basically rubbing shoulders with declasse deal hunters jostling to have that cold samosa. So I always prefer to stay in the common area.” This tweet was later deleted.
Ashneer Grover replied to this tweet and tweeted, “There is more exclusivity in sitting in any airport restaurant and paying for your meal. Lounges are like free meal scheme canteens – with credit card as redeeming voucher!”
To this, ‘Gabbar’ added, “And our mind works in mysterious ways. It interprets that the quality of a supposedly free meal must be inferior. And even a slight quibble in terms of taste is extrapolated to ruin your experience.”
Ashneer Grover misses his father
Recently Ashneer Grover has celebrated his 41st birthday. On this occasion, he wrote a heartfelt note remembering his father which says, “I turn 41 today. It’s the first birthday without dad (papa). The pain we hide behind the smiles is excruciating – all distractions are fleeting. Love you papa always!”
