Shark Tank India Season 2: The young entrepreneurs and siblings Abhay Sharma and Smartika Sharma came to present their brand Kyari, which is smart stick brand. Abhay and Smartika asked for 51 lakhs for 1% equity and their deal created quite a stir between the sharks. They said that they started Kyari with the motivation of their family as their family is full of adventure enthusiasts. Kyari is world’s first smart stick guardian that has several features for the user to enjoy a happy and safe hiking. However, they impressed the sharks and created some Shark fights.
After knowing the feature of the brand, Namita and Amit raised a shared offer of 51 lakhs for 10% equity. Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal gave another shared offer of 51 lakhs for 15% equity but they made changes in that and decided to have 12% equity. A fun-banter started between Amit Jain and Aman Gupta after that, Amit Jain said, “Apki Company ko technology ki jarurat hai.” Aman Gupta said, “Vo peyush dekh lega.” Amit continued, “Aur aapko marketing ki jarurat hai.” Aman said, “Vo main dekh lunga.” However, Aman stopped after that and Namita gave another offer of 51 lakhs for 8& equity.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal got the deal
Peyush Bansal intervened and said, “Ek pharmaceutical company aur ek car selling company. Ab dekhlo aap khud hi.” Namita Thapar roasted him by saying, “Arey yeh kya chashme se badi baat kar raha hai. Iss chashme ko rakhoge toh bhalu bhi bada dikhega.” Abhay and Smartika said that they can’t give more than 2% equity and Amit Jain and Namita Thapar gave a revised offer of 51 lakhs for 6% equity. Abhay and Smartika requested for 60 lakhs at the same equity but after Anupam denied to do that. At the end, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal got the deal for 51 lakhs for 6% equity as Aman Gupta put him out.
