Shark Tank India Season 2: Ankit came to present his online hackathon organizing brand Unstop which is a mobile application used by companies for recruiting and it’s also used by colleges for different exams or other functions. He impressed the Sharks with the numbers of his company such as revenue, profit and return rate of the customers. Sharks were impressed by his convincing techniques and Namita Thapar said that ‘your name should be Ankit Makkhhanwala.” He secured a four-shark deal as Vineeta stepped out.

Ankit asked for 1 crores for 1% equity in the company. Amit Jain was so much impressed with him and he gave an offer of 5 crores for 10% equity by saying that he wants to give an offer that others Sharks couldn’t match. However, Ankit said that he wants to hear every Sharks before taking any decision and Sharks lauded him for doing that. Anupam Mittal talked about the numbers of his company and he said to Namita that he wants to think so she can give an offer. Aman Gupta gave him offer with a fun.

Aman said, “Hum dono aapko combined offer denge aur usme hum denge aapko teen cheezein. Pehle toh aapko denge 60 lakhs for 2% equity and 40 lakhs debt without interest. Aur aapko denge vo jiski aapko bahaut jarurat hai. Namita ke 20 lakh ke joote.” This left the Sharks in splits and Ankit finally got successful in convincing the four Sharks to get a four-shark deal. Aman Gupta asked him, “Joote nahi chahiye.” Namita Thapar said, “sarr pe maarungi.” Vineeta Singh also supported her.
