Shark Tank India Season 2: Kishor Jairamka and Ashutosh Roy came to present their clothing brand Gavin Paris to Sharks and they impressed the Sharks with their pitch as they left the Sharks smiling after their pitch. They talked about their background and shared that Kishor has a family business and after seeing the garment business of his sister, he started this business. Ashutosh is the younger one in the company and he shared that he has gained knowledge about clothing as he came from Ludhiana.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Sharks felt that the pitcher is getting low income
When Sharks asked about their equity split, Pitchers Kishor and Ashutosh shared that Ashutosh is the co-founder of the company but he doesn’t own any equity and he is just working on commission basis of 1 lakh per month. However, Sharks found that very less as they thought that his expertise is higher than he is getting in the company. Aman Gupta supported Ashutosh and he called him ‘innocent’ and said, “Bhai tu bahaut masoom hai itna masoom mat ban. Main toh suggest karunga ki tujhe kabhi job ki jarurat ho ya same business mere sath karna ho toh mere sath shuru karle.”
Amit Jain also supported him and said that “If you don’t want to go with Aman Gupta then I have the same offer for you because you are very bright and he is consuming you.” Vineeta Singh gave them conditional offer and she said that she will give an offer if the owner will give the 40% equity to Ashutosh. They asked for some time but they decided that Kishor can’t give 40% equity to him as only he invested in the company till now.
