Shark Tank India Season 2: Payal Pathak and her son Soham Payal Pathak came to the reality show and presented their salad brand ‘the simply salad.’ The mother-son duo impressed the sharks with their business pitch and their unique business idea of selling salad with the people who want to continue their diet with taste. Soham Payal Pathak shared that he is just 19-year-old and they both manage their business. Sharks were highly impressed with their salads and they asked for the investment of Rs 30 lakhs with 10 percent equity for their company.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Grit, Gratitude and Gupta: 3Gs help
Soham Payal Pathak and his mother Payal Pathak impressed the Sharks with the taste of their salads and they disclosed that they have delivered 30,000 orders till now. Their company offer weekly and monthly subscription to the people for only Rs 180/day. Aman Gupta and Vineeta Thapar were impressed with the deal and they decided to invest to their company with 5% equity each. However, Anupam Mittal advised them to not take any deal as they can grow it by themselves but the mother-son duo accepted the deal. While accepting the deal, Vineeta Thapar said, ‘Mothers have grit to achieve big in life and she has that. Three Gs helped you today, Grit, Gratitude and Gupta.’

Payal Pathak emerges as inspiration
Payal Pathak talked about her struggles on the show. She got divorced when her son Soham was just 2 years old. She worked in British Airways but she decided to quit her job and start a PG for girls and family. However, covid caused lots of trouble but she converted it to a boon and started food delivery services. Soham is inspired with his mother’s work and he put his mother’s name as his middle name.
