Shark Tank India Season 2: Two brothers Avinash Ramani and Agragesh Ramani came to present their brand Trunome, which is a diagnosis and monitoring platform for chronic diseases like cancer. They impressed the sharks with their pitch and sales of their company. They shared that they have US granted patent and trunome is their original technology to diagnose the patient. However, the pitcher made shocking claims but Namita Thapar was not convinced with their business.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Sharks impressed the humbleness of the pitcher
The pitchers asked for 1.5 crores in the exchange of 1% equity in the company. Anupam Mittal said after hearing the valuation, “heart transplant ki aapke paas hai?” Vineeta Singh said that she is from their senior batch of their college. Pitchers shared their tie-ups with different companies and Namita Thapar asked them, “abhi ye paper work hua hai ya phir sirf verbal communication chal rahi hai?” Pitchers said that it’s only verbal communication in the United States but they have signed papers in India. Sharks impressed Avinash Ramani for his humble nature during the pitch.
Namita Thapar blasted the pitchers
Namita Thapar asked them about the basis of valuation and pitchers told their revenue to sharks. Peyush Bansal face them offer of 1.5 crore for 2% equity. Anupam Mittal asked them about the business in next 5 years and the pitchers said that they can make RS 4000 crore business in the next 5 years. Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh also gave them offer and Namita Thapar said, “Dekhiye aap ek thoda sa reality check keejiye. I was willing to take a bet on you but jahan mujhe problem ho raha hai that is 2.5 crore revenue ho chuka hai hardly 5 hospitals se tie-ups kiya hai aur baat kar rahe hain 4000 crore revenue. Kuch clarity nahi hai sirf hawa mein baatein ho rahi hain.”
