Shark Tank India Season 2: Young Entrepreneurs Hiimanshu Agarwal and Chirag Gupta came to presen their brand Deyor and they impressed the Sharks with their pitch. One of the founders of their company Chirag Gupta is the member of Forbes 30 under 30 lists of 2019. He started this chatbot with Himanshu Agarwal to scale his business. Deyor is a Whatsapp chatbot that plans the whole holiday package of every user after getting the information.

They impressed the Sharks with their pitch but their ask shocked the Sharks as they asked for 1.5 crore for 1% equity in their company. Aman Gupta called them a travel agency but they weren’t happy to hear that. After Aman, Peyush asked, “Jab investment lete ho toh kaise introduce karte ho?” Chirag replied, “Hum ek travel technology platform hai jo trip planning karta hai.”
Pitchers failed to get a deal
However, their numbers shocked the Sharks but sharks said that the business will not be profitable because they will hire a team for the company. Peyush Bansal said, “Mujhe aapka business hi samajh nahi aa raha hai because apke business mein koi consumer problem hi nahi hai, aapne sirf ek chatbot bana diya hai, Hindustan mein kisi customer support ke paas jayenge toh vo chatbot bana raha hai. Isme koi tech nahi hai yeh travel agent se same hai. Pata hi nahi kya run kar rahe hain. Na koi vision hai aur na hi koi purpose hai. Kisi customer ki koi samasya solve nahi kar rahe hain. Bas jahan paisa dikh raha hai wahan jaa rahe ho.”
Aman Gupta also said, “hawa mein mat udo. Zameen pe rehke dhandha karo.” They failed to get a deal from the Sharks but Anupam Mittal said that I hop you have learnt something.
