Shark Tank India Season 2: Namita Thapar of Emcure Pharmaceuticals was renowned as the ‘shark’ who frequently bowed out after hearing the pitch following the first season of Shark Tank India. In fact, her reasoning for exiting a venture inspired numerous social media memes, but it appears that Namita has found some fascinating opportunities on this season of Shark Tank India, as she is the season’s largest investment thus far. The show has been running for three weeks, and Namita has proven to be the most generous investor, investing Rs 7.32 crore. Aman Gupta of boAt Electronics comes in second with Rs 5.17 crore.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Peyush Bansal comes in second place
Peyush Bansal of Lenskart comes in second with Rs 4.8 crore invested in the first three weeks, followed by Anupam Mittal of People Group with Rs 3.18 crore. Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics has invested Rs 2.95 crore despite not being on the panel in the third week. And Cardekho’s Amit Jain, who was absent from the panel for the first two weeks, has invested Rs 2.36 crore.
According to a social media post from Sony TV’s Instagram handle, the total investments made thus far amount to Rs 25.78 crore. The show airs Monday through Friday at 10 p.m. on Sony TV and is also available on SonyLIV.
