Shark Tank India Season 2

Shark Tank India Season 2 featured Neomotion, a customised wheelchair startup, and after hearing their presentation, Anupam Mittal remarked that if they could create the product at a lower price, they might be awarded the Bharat Ratna. The entrepreneurs want Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1% of the business.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Anupam Mittal praised the pitcher for his Idea

The cost of producing the product was negotiated by the entrepreneurs and the sharks. At this point, Mittal emphasized how well-known “frugal engineering” is in India and how entrepreneurs “won’t just win business, but also win a Bharat Ratna” if their product could be produced for merely Rs 25,000. Additionally, he stated that this enterprise is for “desh ka kalyan.” Eventually, Anupam Mittal made an offer, and Namita Thapar agreed to it before withdrawing. Peyush Bansal also made a proposal, but the business owners were adamant on sticking to their estimate. They seemed “money-minded” to Anupam. The business owners refused every offer they were given, remained true to their vision, and did not even make a counter offer. They finally received the offer they were seeking from Peyush, and it was locked.

Amit Jain gave hilarious reply to Peyush Bansal

A startup named Licksters made ice cream was featured on Shark Tank India. Amit Jain was about to walk away from this transaction but he gave an offer when the business owners persuaded him to stay. Peyush Bansal claimed that absent the conflict of interest, he too would have struck a deal. Amit responded, “Fir baithe hi kyu ho? Popsicle companies aati hain toh uth hi jaaya karo.”
