Shark Tank India Season 3: Every episode features a large number of entrepreneurs showcasing their innovations to the sharks. Some business owners bring them joy, and some simply astound them. In the most recent episode, a business called “Daakroom” was featured. Its mission is to bring back letter writing in the digital age. The intriguing beginning of their pitch featured the postman entering the tank and handing letters to the sharks. Their start-up was praised by PM Modi but they failed to impress the boat founder Aman Gupta and he slammed them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended a startup pitch that boAt founder Aman Gupta rejected from Shark Tank India, stating that “it’s not business” in the most recent episode of the reality television program. Daak Room uses its products and campaigns to encourage writing on paper. Following a detailed discussion of their venture, the founders requested Rs 36 lakh for a 4% equity in the company. Aman Gupta denied investing in the brand while slamming the brand.

He said, “This used to happen in very old times. It’s not a business. I am out because I don’t have the same passion for writing like you guys, so I won’t be able to add more value.”

Who Invested in the Brand?

Finally, the founders of DaakRoom struck a deal with Ritesh Agarwal for a 6% stake in exchange for Rs 36 lakh; the deal stipulated that the stake would drop to 5% if the company met its revenue targets.
