Sharmila Tagore, verteran actress, has received covid-19 vaccie. Her elder daughter Saba Ali Khan shared the information on Instagram stories.
Before Sharimla, actors like her son Saif Ali Khan, Dharmdendra, Nina Gupta, Satish Shah, Nagarjuna, Hema Malini, Kamal Haasan and Gajraj Rao among others received vaccine jabs.
While her son Saif was spotted outside the vaccine Centre, he didn’t release any official statement regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra on Friday shared a video of himself receiving the vaccine jab. While asking everyone eligible to administer the vaccine dose, the actor said that we should mask up and maintain physical distancing. As a nurse gave him the coronavirus dose, the actor is heard saying in the clip, “I am even taking this (vaccine). It should be given to boys and girls as well.”

India is currently witnessing a second wave of coronavirus infection. On Sunday, daily cases were reported little over 44k, which is the highest number since November.
So far, 4.46 crore doses of corona vaccine have been administered in the country since the drive began on January 16 after the approval for ‘Covishield’ and ‘Covaxin’.
More than 16.12 lakh doses were administered on a single day on Saturday.
