Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will tie the knot on June 23 and the haldi ceremony will take place today. Yesterday, reports unveiled that Sonakshi’s mother Poonam and brother Luv have unfollowed the actress amid the wedding rumours. The reports stated that they are unhappy with the marriage and that her family will not attend the wedding. Sonakshi’s father and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha opened up about attending his daughter’s marriage and he also spoke about the choice of Sonakshi.
Shatrughan Sinha talks about attending the marriage
In a recent interview with ZOOM, Shatrughan spoke about attending the marriage. He said, “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter, Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
He further praised Sonakshi for being his good daughter and he talked about the pair. The actor said, “The very fact that I have still been in Mumbai conveys that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but as her real kavach (armour) as well. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live life together. They look very nice together.” Sinha used his signature dialogue to express his happiness. He concluded, “I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer are planning to have a court marriage on June 23 under the Special Marriage Act. Reportedly, the haldi ceremony will take place today. Earlier, a wedding voice note regarding their marriage went viral online and it confirmed the wedding. Sonakshi also shared photos from the bachelor party.
