Actor Shekhar Suman, who garnered limelight with his justice forum for Sushant Singh Rajput, has now demanded apology from people who accused him of using late actor’s death for his own benefits.
The actor was earlier accused by a section of netizens for using late actor’s death to promote himself in the Bihar Election 2020. Now that the elections are done with, the actor has said he was never interested in them and people who maligned him when he tried to stand for his beliefs now owe him an apology.
The accusations came after the actor met leader Tejashwi Yadav and even insisted on meeting Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to demand a CBI probe into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput who hailed from Bihar.
Shekhar took to Twitter to share his thoughts. “When I met Tejashwi Yadav in connection with Sushant in Patna,a lot of ppl accused me of having political ambitions. The Bihar elections have come n gone and I cldnt care a fig about it.Wd these creeps who accused me now come forward and say sorry to me,” he said.
“If you fight for a problem you are doing it for publicity,if you don’t you are a self-centered,coward and a selfish guy. One has to think a million times before taking a stand. There ain’t always a motive behind what you do,” he further added.
Following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Shekhar Suman had invented a justice forum which demanded everyone to come under the same umbrella to urge for a fair investigation in the death case of the late actor.
Earlier, after meeting Tejashwi Yadav in June, Shekhar Suman had clarified that he did not have taste of politics. “I’ve no taste for politics,no inclination,no aptitude,no temperament.if given the choice i wdn’t like to touch it with a ten feet barge pole.ppl are trying hard to stop me from going ahead with #justiceforSushantforum by insinuating ive political ambitions,” he said.
