Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra’s much-anticipated film, Shershaah is set to have a digital release. The film will release on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. The makers of the film shared the first teaser of the film on Thursday. The war drama is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra, who was martyred while serving for the country during the Kargil War in 1999. His immense bravery is still commended among many for which he was given the title of Sher Shah.
Sidharth, extremely proud to step into the shoes of Vikram Batra, took to Twitter to drop the teaser and wrote, Heroes live on through their stories. The film is directed by Vishnu Varadhan and jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.
