Reports quoted Roopkumar Shah as saying that they had received five dead bodies in the Cooper Hospital for postmortem when Sushant Singh Rajput passed away . One of those five bodies belonged to a VIP. He was identified as Sushant when we went to conduct a post-mortem, and there were multiple marks on his torso in addition to two to three marks on his neck. Higher authorities were asked to simply take photos of the body because the postmortem needed to be documented. Therefore, we carried out their request.
“When I initially saw Sushant’s body, I immediately told my seniors that I thought it was a murder rather than a suicide. I even advised them to follow the regulations when working. My seniors, however, instructed me to call the police and take pictures of the body as quickly as I could. As a result, we only conducted the postmortem at night, said Shah.
