Amaran is going to be an action-packed thriller based on true events connected to the Indian Army. The new release date has sparked excitement among the audience. Amaran to Release on the Festival of Lights
Taran Adarsh revealed in his tweet that the film is going to be released on the occasion of Diwali. Before this, the film was clashing with Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Bhaskar because it was releasing on 27 September. But now, the makers avoided taking any risk and decided to release the film on a new date. They postponed the release and pushed it to 31st October 2024. Sony Pictures revealed the release date and now it seems that this date is going to be finalized. This film is going to be Pan-India and cover the audience of the country to show them the real story of the Indian Army.
About the film
Amaran is a biographical film about Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was killed in 2014 in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, during an anti-terrorist operation. Posthumously, he received the Ashok Chakra. Sivakarthikeyan portrays Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army Rashtriya Rifles officer, in the film “Amaran.” “Amaran” features music provided by GV Prakash.
Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made the 2017 motion picture “Rangoon,” is directing the film. The book ‘India’s Most Fearless’ by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh contains a chapter on Major Varadarajan, which serves as the inspiration for the movie. It is co-produced by God Bless Entertainment and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, R Mahendran, and Kamal Haasan.
