Anushka Sharma: Indian actress Anushka Sharma recently returned to India after the birth of her second child Akaay. As soon as she returned from London, the ‘PK’ actress started trending all over the internet. She made a rare appearance at an event in Mumbai and talked about parenting where she mentioned that parents got no social life. Anushka Sharma joined the ‘Yes Moms and Dads’ gathering and expressed her views on the subject matter.
Anushka Sharma addressed the Social Life of Parents
While talking about the parenting difficulties, Anushka mentioned the lack of social life of parents. She said that she can only spend time with people who are also parents and there are very few of them. “I can only hang out with people who do the same and these are very few people. So social life, you can forget about it. People invite us to dinner and I am like… You’re probably eating a snack at the time we’re having dinner. Someday, occasionally you have to let it go, otherwise, people will hate you” she said.
Anushka Sharma also talked about herself as a mother and said that she’s a very chill person. “I think I am very chill. Lot of people won’t think I am chill, but yes I am.”
Pressure of being the “Perfect Parents”
Anushka Sharma while addressing the event emphasised the pressure of being the perfect parent. She then mentioned that she and her husband star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli are not the perfect parents and they complain about things. “There is so much pressure to be like this perfect parent. We’re not perfect parents, we’ll complain about things, and it is okay to admit it to them also. So, they know that you’re flawed” Anushka said. She sheds light on showing the reality of their lives to the kids and not hiding their real situations.
Apart from her thoughts on parenting, her look is also going viral on the internet. Anushka Sharma was wearing a sky-blue oversized shirt with statement red pants creating a fresh and trendy combination for the fans. The netizens praised her beauty and complimented her on her healthy body.
