Sooraj Pancholi thanks his fans after acquittal in Jiah Khan suicide case: ‘I COULDN’T HAVE…’

Sooraj Pancholi, the son of Aditya Pancholi, was officially exonerated of all accusations related to aiding Jiah Khan’s suicide on April 28. Due to a lack of evidence, Judge AS Sayyad exonerated the movie actor. The actor released a formal statement after discussing the verdict on social media. In 2013, Jiah Khan, 25, was discovered hanged in her Mumbai residence. Following the revelation of their unstable relationship in a letter by Jiah Khan, her ex-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was detained for aiding suicide. After being imprisoned for ten years, the actor was exonerated by a special CBI court. He also thanked her fans for supporting her through his tough times.

Sooraj Pancholi releases statement

Sooraj Pancholi released a formal statement, “The verdict has taken 10 long painful years and sleepless nights, But today I have not only won this case against me but I have also won my dignity and confidence back, it took a lot of courage to face the world with such heinous allegations, I hope and pray to God that nobody goes through what I have gone through at such a young age, I don’t know who will give me these 10 years of my life back to me, but I am glad that this has finally come to an end not only for me but specially for my family. There is nothing bigger than peace in this world.”

The actor thanks his fans

The actor also uploaded social media stories after the judgement. He wrote in his first story, “The Truth Always wins.” He also uploaded another story and wrote, “THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE ALWAYS SUPPORTED AND BELIEVED IN ME.ONLY I KNOW HOW I HAVE LASTED THOUGH ALL THESE YEARS OF SUFFERING AND PAIN, YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE PRAYERS AND DUA’S HAVE BEEN MY ONLY STRENGTH! I COULDN’T HAVE SURVIVE WITHOUT YOU.”
