Stray Kids have sold an unbelievable quantity of album units, based on the latest date provided in advance of the release of their album. ‘MAXIDENT’ has now surpassed Stray Kids’ former record of 1.3 million stock pre-orders for their sixth mini-album ‘ODDINARY,’ which was released back in March with nearly a million more added to it. Unexpectedly, the figure was reached 10 days even before the album’s scheduled release, as of the recording date of September 28.
The boy group surpasses NCT 127’s “Sticker” statistics by a significant 40,000 units, moving up to third place in the most pre-orders after BTS’ “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” and “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA.” The group has now sold over 2 million albums, which is a new personal record for them, and this coincides with pre-orders for the first time.
