Superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating 72nd birthday today (December 12). The superstar has special and massive fan following around the world. To make this special occasion memorable, the makers are of his upcoming film ‘Jailer’ have decided to give a special treat to his fans as they revealed the first glimpse from the movie ‘Jailer’. Sun Picturess, production house behind Rajinikanth starrer Jailer shared a special poster featuring the superstar. Taking to their Twitter account, the makers announced the time of release of the first glimpse.

Rajinikanth will play the role of Jailer ‘Muthuvel Pandian’ in the film and the first look of the film will be released on the occasion of Rajnikanth’s birthday at 6 PM. Sun Pictures announced on twitter by writing, “Muthuvel Pandian arrives at 12.12.22 – 6 PM. Wishing Superstar @rajinikanth a very Happy Birthday! @Nelsondilpkumar @anirudhofficial #Jailer #SuperstarRajinikanth #HBDSuperstar #HBDSuperstarRajinikanth”. The highly action-packed movie will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and the film will also star Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu in significant roles.
Rajinikanth, whose real name is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, has an impressive career spanning over five decades. He has featured in approx. 160 films till now in six languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telegu, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam. He was last seen in the film ‘Annathee’ which was released in 2021. Recently, he hit headlines for praising Kantara.
