Sushant Singh Rajput birth anniversary: The famous and talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in 2020 and ever since his demise; his sisters never fail to give tribute to the actor. They loved him when he was alive and their love has increased after his death. His sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who lives in the US, is a writer and she wrote a lot about her brother Sushant Singh Rajpur in her book ‘Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment.’
Sushant Singh Rajput’s birth anniversary
The actor was born on 21 January 1986 and he would be 38 years old if he was alive. Shweta Singh Kirti wrote several things in her book about her brother. She stated in her book that because her mother had lost her first son, they had hoped for a male to be born. She wrote, “My family members have often told me that Mom and Dad wanted a son, more so because Mumma’s first child had been a son and she had lost him at a very young age.”
Shweta wrote about growing up together in her book and she continued, “Growing up, we were each other’s shadows – always together. We played and danced, studied and got into mischief, ate and slept, and did everything in unison, to the point people forget we were two separate individuals; they even called us ‘Gudia-Gulshan’ as if we were a single entity.” Shweta revealed that Gudia and Gulshan were nicknames of her and SSR respectively.
Sushant’s reaction to her first period
Shweta described how, following her first period in the sixth grade, their mother requested Sushant to be “gentle” with her since he would playfully strike her. Sushant questioned his sister, “What is it that you can’t share with me?” as she disposed of a pad. I dislike this wall separating us. That demonstrated “his remarkable sensitivity and our profound closeness,” as Shweta pointed out.
How SSR reacted to her wedding
She wrote, “As I prepared to leave, Bhai hugged me tightly, tears streaming down our faces. It was a heartbreaking moment – we knew we wouldn’t be living together anymore, that we wouldn’t have the luxury of seeing each other as much as we used to.”
Shweta talked about the time when she talked to him last time. While Sushant didn’t visit her because he was too busy with his rapid rise to fame in Bollywood, Shweta claimed that from 2014 to 2017, she travelled to India annually to see him. She wasn’t able to see him in 2018 or 2019, thus that was the last time she saw him. She attempted to see him during her visit in January 2020, but it was not possible. She called him again, offering him another invitation to the US, four days before he was discovered dead in his Mumbai flat on June 14, 2020.
