The actor is getting ready to marry Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Ahmad in Delhi, and she turned to Instagram Stories to share how she is preparing with her friends and family. The Veere Di Wedding actor also tweeted a photo of the location of the haldi ceremony.
Swara Shares Haldi Ceremony Venue on Instagram Stories
Swara shared a photo of the location where the haldi ceremony will take place on her Instagram Stories. The venue is decorated with yellow marigold flowers, and it appears that an all-yellow theme will be followed in preparation for the haldi ceremony. Swara wrote in the caption, “And so it begins..(yellow heart and flower emoticons), Loving the decor @foreignweddingplanners.in”, while also using the quirky hashtag on her Story: “#swaadanusaar”.
Yellow Theme Followed in Preparation for Haldi Ceremony
Swara also shared some photos from her wedding preparations, in which she can be seen preparing for her sangeet ceremony with her girlfriends, dancing and singing to dhol beats. Swara also uploaded videos of her mother shaking a leg with a visitor. In another video, her mother can be seen stepping back, hands on her ears, as dhol players beat the dhol inside the house.Swara and Fahad’s wedding festivities will begin with a mehendi ceremony, followed by a sundowner and a sangeet ceremony. There will be a Carnatic music session in the afternoon, as well as a qawwali session. On March 16, the pair will hold a wedding celebration in Delhi.

Swara Bhasker Announces Marriage with Lawmaker Fahad Ahmad on Social Media
Swara Bhasker announced last month that she had registered her marriage with lawmaker Fahad Ahmad. Swara shared the news on her social media sites, tagging Ahmad, the state head of the Samajwadi Party’s youth wing, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha.. “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!” she captioned a video featuring her husband. Swara met Fahad during a protest.
