New Delhi: Renowned Tamil actress Pauline Jessica, popularly known by her stage name Deepa, was found dead at her Chennai apartment on Sunday, September 18, 2022. The 29-year-old Andhra-based actress left behind an alleged suicide note which was written in her diary.

Tamil actor Pauline Jessica died by suicide on September 18. She was found hanging in her Chennai apartment. The actor, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was last seen in the movie Vaidha. Besides, she worked in various other Tamil films and serials. The neighbours shared the Koyambedu police of her death. The police sent the body to Kilpauk Government Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
Recently, Thoorigai, 28, the daughter of renowned Tamil lyricist Kabilan, committed suicide. She was a celebrity stylist as well as a costume designer for various Tamil films. A post-mortem on the actress’s body has been ordered, and an inquiry is under progress.
ANI quoted the police as saying, “We are investigating the alleged suicide of popular actor Pauline Jessica from all sides and are taking the help of CCTV.” The police also confirmed that they have recovered a suicide letter in which the late actor mentioned a failed relationship.
Pauline also acted in director Mysskin’s hit thriller Thupparivalan. She also did a few TV shows.
