Thalapathy Vijay: The much-anticipated announcement is finally here. The title of Thalapathy Vijay’s next has been revealed. The flick has been titled Leo, as announced by makers. Billed as an action-thriller, Leo has been directed by Lokesh Kangaraj. The film will be the newest addition in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter to unveil the official title of Thalapathy 67 on February 3. The film has been titled Leo. In a promo shared by the makers, Vijay is seen in sporting a menacing avatar, ditching his good boy image. You can really see revenge in his eyes. Going by the first looks of it, the flick appears to be the backstory of Vijay’s character and highlight his quest for something ‘bloody sweet’. Check out the promo below:

After 2020 film Master, Leo will be second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kangaraj. The film was a box office hit, which is making fans to wait for the new film even more. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt. The film has announced streaming giant Netflix as its digital partner. Trisha Krishnan will reunite with Vijay in Thalapathy 67 after 14 years..The two were last seen together on the big screen in Kuruvi (2008).
A few hours before announcing Netflix as its digital partner, 7 Screen Studio had also tweeted that the satellite rights for Thalapathy 67 had been acquired by Sun TV. “Andha saththam…Indhiya tholaikaaatchigalil mudhal muraiyaaaga (that sound…For the first time on Indian television.) Happy to announce that Sun TV is the satellite partner of Thalapathy 67,” it said in a tweet.
