Bollywood actor Kajol rang in her 47th birthday today. On her special day, she received a lovely wish from her husband and actor Ajay Devgn. He took to Instagram to share a special post featuring him and Kajol in a throwback photo. The picture appears from the sets of an event. Sharing the classic pic, the actor captioned, You have managed to bring a smile to my face for the longest time now… happy birthday dearest Kajol, will try to make it as special as you are.”
Kajol had a pre-birthday celebration with her mother, actress Tanuja, and sister, actress Tanishaa Mukerji. She took to Instagram to give sneak peek of her intimate party. One of the posts featured the trio posing for a selfie. “Trying to fit all three expressions in one frame is im possible!!! Thank u Tichi for this wonderful happy pre celebration! Love u both to bits,” she captioned. “The three musketeers,” who are “always together,” she captioned the other pic.
As for Ajay Devgn and Kajol, the celeb couple got married in 1999. They welcomed their first child – daughter Nysa – in 2003, whole their son Yug was born in 2010.
Both superstars Kajol and Ajay Devgn have worked together in several films including Ishq, Gundaraj, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha and U Me Aur Hum. Their last on-screen pairing in the 2020 period-drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was a block buster, emerging as the highest grossing film of the year.
