Tory Lanez felony assault trial: Tory Lanez’s felony assault trial has come to an end! Tory has been found guilty, according to Variety, more than two years after Megan Thee Stallion accused the Canadian rapper of shooting her. Lanez was found guilty on all three counts in Los Angeles’ Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

Tory Lanez, who pled not guilty in November 2020, was found guilty on all three felony firearm charges. He was found guilty of “assault with a semiautomatic firearm,” “carrying a loaded, unlicensed firearm in a vehicle,” and “negligent discharge of a firearm.” The third count was introduced by the prosecutors just before the trial began.

The rapper faces up to 22 years and 8 months in jail if the judgement is not in his favour.

According to TMZ, Tory Lanez’s family, who were in court, caused mayhem after the decision was read. The family, which included Tory’s father and stepmother, said, “This system stands before God!”
Megan Thee Stallion Shooting: Specifics
Megan Thee Stallion accused Tory Lanez of shooting her in the foot a month earlier at a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills house. In July of this year, the 27-year-old Grammy-winning musician stated to Rolling Stone (via Entertainment Tonight) her aspirations for the felony assault trial: “I want him imprisoned. I want him to go underground. I believe it’s insane that anyone can come online and write anything that isn’t 100% true. That is seriously interfering with my life. How do you do that and get away with it?”
