Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles have crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. The film has achieved this feat in just 11 days, becoming one of the most successful films of the year 2023. Directed by Luv Ranjan, known for the Pyar Ka Punchnama franchise, TJMM released on March 8.
TJMM Crosses Rs 100 crore at the box office
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s sixth film to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Sharing the box office figure, film trade analyst Joginder Tuteja tweeted on Sunday, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has entered the ₹100 Crore Club. Accomplishes the feat in 11 days. This is also Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s sixth ₹100 crores film each. Do you know which are their other five?”
Meanwhile, the worldwide box office collection of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has reached Rs 122 crore.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is only the second Bollywood film to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in 2023. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan was the first film to attain this feat this year.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has been produced by Luv Films and Ankur Garg and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. Aside from Ranbir and Shraddha, the quirky comedy also features Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi. The film received mixed reactions from audience and critics alike.

Ranbir has a number of films in his pipeline. The actor will next be seen in Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He will also feature in Brahmastra 2.
Shraddha Kapoor work front
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Stree 2. The film is a continuation of her film Stree which also featured Rajkummar Rao. The actor will also feature in Chanda Mama Door Ke.
