Upcoming Netflix Series: Indian Matchmaking Season 2 is set to stream exclusively on Netflix today, August 10.
Created and directed by Smriti Mundhra, Indian Matchmaking is a reality show that features Sima Taparia at the center, helping people find their soulmates. Apart from Season 1 guests like Aparna Shewakramani and Pradhyuman Maloo, this time the series will see a different set of people looking for love.
In Season 2 of the hit reality show, Taparia will return with her database of matches and arrange matches for hopeful singles. For the unversed, Sima uses a unique combination of modern matchmaking skills, combined with dated practices such as astrology to help her clients.
Her targets go on dates in each episode, evaluating the person they meet. In brief, Sima tries to help people find their happy-ever-afters.
However, marriage is not an easy decision to be taken lightly. Many of her hopefuls are very specific about their likes and dislikes, making hers a difficult job.
We will see the return of Season 1 favourites like Aparna Shewakramani and Pradhyuman Maloo. It remains to be seen if this time around, they’ll find their perfect match. Indian Matchmaking Season 2 was created and directed by Smriti Mundhra. The first season had around eight episodes and the second is expected to have the same number. The running time for each episode will be between 35-40 minutes.
