Empire of Light is going to release on June 9, 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar. The storyline is based on a cinema duty manager living in a beautiful seaside town in England in the 1980s. The film deals with the challenges of a local duty manager’s inner desires and mental well-being. The story takes a turn when she meets a newly hired employee and both share the challenges, stress, pressure, ups and downs of the workplace. Over a period of time, the relationship between the two deepens.
