Allu Arjun is kicking the month full of exciting releases off with his much anticipated release Pushpa 2: The Rule. The sequel directed by Sukumar will feature Arjun playing the lead role of Pushpa raj alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. The film revolves around Pushpa (Allu Arjun) as he returns to face his rival Bhanwar Singh for the final showdown. Pushpa 2 has been on the radar of fans ever since it's first announcement and the anticipation around this release is second to none. Music was a key factor in the first film's success and to make sure to keep fans engaged the makers have called the creator behind the hit song O Antava for a second time. With everything in place all eyes are on 5th December.

Next on the list is the Nana Patekar starrer Vanvaas, with him is Utkarsh Sharma, who was last seen playing Charanjeet in Gadar 2. The film is a directed by of Anil Sharma, whose is known as the creator of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Singh Saab the great among others popular films. Vanvaas features Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma as a father-son duo tackling the ups and downs of life as Nana Patekar’s character battles Dementia. The film is scheduled for release on 20th December 2024.

Continuing the legacy of the Lion King Franchise, the next entry on the list is Mufasa: The Lion King. A photo realistically animated sequel to the 2019 film The Lion King. The English voice cast of the Disney film includes names like Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr and Seth Rogen among others. The Hindi Dub on the other hand has Shah Rukh Khan reprising his role as the voice of Mufasa. Joining him is Aryan Khan voicing Simba with AbRam Khan voicing a young Mufasa. The film tells the origin story of Mufasa and Taka in flashback with Rafiki narrating the story to Mufasa's granddaughter. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 20th December 2024.

Upcoming Movies In December 2024 Will See Varun Dhawan In and As Baby John

Ending the list of December releases is Varun Dhawan with Baby John. Produced by Kalees this upcoming action drama is the remake of the famed director Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri. The film follows DCP Satya Verma (Varun Dhawan) as he returns from his staged demise to protect his daughter from harm’s way. Besides Varun Dhawan, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. The film will hit the theaters on 25th December 2024.
