Urfi Javed reacts to Milind Soman’s Vim ad controversy, Says ‘What the f**k is wrong with them?’, Watch Video

Urfi Javed: A recent advertisement by Vim which has Milind Soman in the lead, has sparked controversy for endorsing a sexist idea. The Hindustan Unilever Ltd’s household cleaning brand recently launched a macho ‘black’ version of the product, in order to encourage the males in the society to do the dishes. This did not do down well with the netizens. The brand along with Model and actor Milind Siman, are being massively bashed for such a campaign. And now it’s not just the common man who is reacting to this ad, but social media sensation Urfi Javed has also come out and shared a post, slamming the vim campaign.

Urfi Javed reacts to Vim controversy

Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed, re shared a post by a news portal BeBadass.in, and further slammed the brand as well as the creator of the advertisement. The post not just showcased the advertisement and stated the reasons to how this campaign does more damage than good.
Urfi further wrote, “what the f**k is wrong with Vim? You think men need a different product to wash utensils because??? The F**k”.
She further shared another screenshot from the post which said, “The idea that you need to make household chores appealing to men by giving them a macho makeover, further perpetuates the misperception that household chores are essentially a woman’s job and thus ‘feminine’”.

What is the Vim ad controversy?

Milind Soman shared his advertisement on his social media platform, which initially shows a man working out in the gym. And says on how he helps his mother in washing the dishes. Later, Milind Soman enters the picture and praised the man for ‘bragging’ and offers him Vim black, which says ‘Vim Black for men, easy to clean, more to brag’.
And soon after this ad went out, the brand as well as Milind Soman are being trolled for encouraging a ‘sexist idea’.
