On Friday, Urfi Javed woke up and chose violence. In today’s befitting reply episode, Urfi blasted Shark Tank India’s farmer judge and entrepreneur Asneer Grover.
Urfi Javed slams Ashneer Grover
Urfi Javed took to her Instagram stories and shared an old video of Ashneer questioning her celebrity status. “Kaun bandi hai woh Urfi Javed, kya naam hai uska. Celebrity toh woh bhi hai. Kabhi woh jeans neeche phene ki jagah upar phen ke aa jayegi. Toh uska koi matlab nahi hai.” Taking a dig at the former business mogul, Urfi wrote, “Next story me aapka core dikhate hai duniya ko!”
In her next story, Urfi shared a post that mentioned Ashneer Grover and his wife, Madhuri Jain, are in trouble as an FIR has been filed against them in a multi-crore fraud case by BharatPe.
Taking a dig, Urfi wrote, “Or Inka ‘core’ hai ‘crore’ ka fraud karna. Tabhi toh yeh celebrity hai.” (Rough translation: And his core is having fraud of crores. That’s why he is a celebrity).
Later, Urfi was spotted in her car where she handed over a book written by Ashneer Grover. In the video that was uploaded on Instagram, she said, “Galti se mujhe ye book raste me bookwale ne de di lelo mujhe nahi chahiye… ye doglapan apne paas rakho.” (By mistake, the bookseller on the streets gave this book, keep this with you. I don’t want this hypocrite.)
Ashneer Grover fraud case
Ashneer Grover was fired from the fintech in March 2022 after he was charged of financial irregularities. BharatPe filed a criminal charge and a civil suit against Grover and his family. Now, an FIR has been filed against him by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
