The plot of the movie revolved around Raghu, played by Varun Dhawan, who seeks revenge against Liak, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, after his wife and son are killed in a bank robbery.
October
Varun Dhawan played a challenging character of his career in the 2018 film. October also received positive reviews because of the natural acting of Varun Dhawan. But people did not like that much and it failed to be a super hit. The plot of the movie revolves around a hotel management trainee named Dan, played by Varun Dhawan, who becomes deeply affected by the condition of his colleague Shiuli, played by Banita Sandhu, after she falls from the third floor of the hotel where they both work.
Sui Dhaaga
The 2018 film become trending on social media but the reason was the memes of this film. Varun Dhawan played the character of a common man and he did justice with his role alongside Anushka Sharma. The plot of the movie revolves around a young couple named Mauji, played by Varun Dhawan, and Mamta, played by Anushka Sharma, who live in a small town and dream of starting their own tailoring business.
Kalank
The 2019 film was multi-starrer and the film has some big names such as Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. The magic of Varun Dhawan as Zafar came out brighter but the film received mixed reviews and failed to live up to the expectations. It featured the love story of Hindu girl (Alia Bhatt) and Muslim boy (Varun Dhawan) and this was not well-received by the audience. The film also featured Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles. The songs of this movie gained a lot of fame among fans.
Bhediya
Varun Dhawan was last seen in Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. Bhediya was the most challenging role of Varun Dhawan’s career. He accepted in many interviews that it was really difficult for him to do the role in Bhediya but we can say that his hard work was seen in the movie. Varun Dhawan nailed his role in the film but people did not like it that much and this movie also remained underrated like other of his best films.
