Border 2: Varun Dhawan’s official casting announcement for the highly awaited war thriller Border 2 was made on Friday, and the news has caused quite a stir. The legendary Sunny Deol is the lead in this new film, which is a sequel to the 1997 hit Border. Sunny Deol announced the happy news on social media. The teaser includes Varun’s voice resonating in the background, fueling the emotion of patriotism.
The first line of the upcoming release is “Dushman ki har goli se Jai Hind bol kar takrata hoon, jab dharti maa bulati hai, sab chhod kar aata hoon,” echoing in Varun’s voice. According to Sunny Deol’s post, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres on January 23, 2026.
