Music composer Vanraj Bhatia, who was famous for providing melodious music in parallel films of the 70s and 80s, died at the age of 94 at his home in Mumbai.
He was running ill for a long time and breathed his last at around 8.30 this morning.
Vanraj Bhatia was also facing financial crisis for the last few years. In such a situation, he was also financially supported by the Indian Performing Rights Society, which takes care of the interests of singers, lyricists and musicians.
Music composer Vanraj Bhatia received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction 31 years ago. After this, he was also awarded with Padma Shri award in 2012.
