Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat: Life is coming back to full circle for Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal who is set to play DJ Mohabbat in his upcoming film Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat. The role will see him exploring his character DJ Sandz from Manmarziyaan. On Sunday, filmmaker Anurag Kahsyap took to Twitter to unveil first look poster of Vicky Kaushal, informing the actor will be playing the role of DJ Mohabbat.
Anurag Kashyap introduces DJ Mohabbat
Anurag Kashyap has finally made the much-anticipated announcement. He took to Instagram to announce that Vicky Kaushal will be playing the role of DJ Mohabbat in his next film. He also revealed that the film’s song Mohabbat Se Kranti will be released on Monday. He captioned the post, “Dharti ka seena phaad ke, aasman ke baadal chhant ke… Aa gayi mohabbat… Jo jaayegi kranti! Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohobbat in cinemas February 3…”
Vicky shares his ‘mohabbat’ for Anurag Kashyap
Sharing the poster of the movie, Vicky wrote on Instagram, “My mohabbat for the man who opened my first door to the movies… DJ Sandz of Manmarziyaan grows up to become DJ Mohabbat! #IAmDJMohabbat #AlmostPyaarWithDjMohabbat releasing Feb 3rd. @anuragkashyap10.”
Talking about the film, Anurag had earlier said, as quoted by news agency ANI, “Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat, is very close to my heart as it’s something which has taken shape over the years from my conversations with my daughter. It’s a true labour of love with some amazing young actors, great energy, great music by Amit Trivedi with the help of some amazing collaborators like my DP Sylvester and my PD Shazia plus everyone else.”
