Viral video: The public display of affection aka PDA has become quite common among the young generation also referred to as Gen Z. The internet is filled with clips that show couples romancing on the street, having little to no worries of being caught or captured. One such video from Delhi-NCR has surfaced on the internet, leaving the internet divided on the idea of romance. However, the safety hazard in the video is crystal clear, and for the same, Delhi Traffic Police has also swung into action, issuing an advisory.
Viral video: Couple romancing on streets
A Twitter user has shared a video of a young couple romancing on the outer Ring Road flyover near Mangolpuri. Taken on July 16 at 7:15 pm, the video shows a young couple A man riding a motorbike at a high speed as a woman seated on the fuel tank hugs him. While the man has donned a helmet, the woman is sans any protective gear, further flagging safety concerns. Watch the video below:

The Delhi Traffic Police came up with a prompt response and wrote, “Thank you, you are requested to report such traffic violation on Delhi Traffic Police Sentinel App.”

Twitter users replied to the video with distinct views. One user also questioned the person who originally shared the video asking how did they shoot while driving. Meanwhile, the official Twitter handle of Delhi Complaint also requested the Commissioner of Police to look into the matter and take necessary action. Some netizens also pointed out how Bollywood has normalized such life-threatening acts in the name of romance. Another person, sharing his POV, wrote, “The only traffic violation done here is the girl is not wearing. Helmet. Provision of seating on the vice tank is still not clear in the MV Act.”
