Viral Video: Dance is not everyone’s cup of tea. There are several types of dancers but let’s just club them all into two broad categories – isolated dancers and public dancers. It takes a lot of courage to fall into the latter category; even more when your size is bigger than average according to societal standards. However, one man shed all inhibitions the moment he heard his favorite theme being played and started dancing to his heart’s content.

One of the lingering concerns that keeps haunting us over and over again is how we look. Although people say ‘appearance doesn’t matter,’ somewhere deep down we all are affected by the way we look. Society has transitioned into a more empathetic organism over the years. From bullying and name-calling, we have now come to a point where body shaming is seen as an abomination. Amid all these changing times, a plus-size man decided to shed all his inhibitions and groove his heart out on his favorite beats of Chandana Chandanadinda.
The popular romantic song from the Kannada movie Midida Hrudayagulu has gone through remixes and changes to be transformed into this dancing number. This free-spirited man gave his all to exhibit his killer moves on the floor in public. The background effects added even more luster to his performance. Each time he would slam his feet on the ground, smoke machines would pump smoke in the air. The guy seemed to enjoy his time and was unfazed by exertion.
Netizens react to the free-spirited performance
The change in society can very well be witnessed in the comments section of the viral video. Netizens reacted with all the positivity they could to boost the man’s courage. Some of their heartfelt comments read, “Size don’t matter when a person have self confidence,” “God gifted talent bro pls cont,” “Dil se khush rahne wala bhai…,” “Bohot cute ho bhai aap salute itna weight hone ke baad bhi bohot accha perform kiya,” etc.
