Welcome 2023: The New Year has started. The previous year was not particularly memorable for Hindi cinema, with four Hindi films receiving rave reviews: ‘The Kashmir Files,’ ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva,’ and ‘Drishyam 2’. The first six months of the New Year will be more exciting. The fates of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Prabhas, and Ayushmann Khurrana will be decided in the next six months. Let us provide you month-by-month information about the films about which Hindi cinema is already in full swing in the first six months of the New Year:
Joyful January
The film ‘Pathan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, and set to be released on the 25th of the first month of the New Year, is catching the attention of Indian film fans all over the world. Prior to this film by Siddharth Anand, director of the hit film ‘War,’ Vishal Bhardwaj and singer Rekha Bhardwaj’s son Aasman’s directorial debut film ‘Kutte’ will be released on January 13.
Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan to prove their stardom
The second month of the year 2023 will be crucial for last year’s breakout talents, Karthik Aryan and Ajay Devgan. Kartik Aaryan’s fan-base will be put to the test again with ‘Shehzada,’ a remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,’ starring Kriti Sanon. Aside from filmmaker Rohit Dhawan’s film, which will be released on February 10, Ajay Devgan’s long-awaited sports biopic ‘Maidan’ will be released on February 17.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar & Bholaa
With the winters coming to an end in North India, actor Ranbir Kapoor will visit the big screen on March 8 in his new flick Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, opposite actress Shraddha Kapoor, to raise the bar at the box office. Following this film by filmmaker Luv Ranjan, Ajay Devgan’s action flick ‘Bhola’ will be released on March 30th, the last Friday of the month. This film, which is a remake of the South Indian film ‘Kaithi,’ is also directed by Ajay Devgan.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
The month of April 2023 will be crucial for Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh in the New Year. Salman Khan is working hard to get his next film, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan,’ ready for release around Eid. This film will determine the future of its director, Farhad Samji, as well as Salman Khan. Farhad’s previous film, ‘Bachchan Pandey,’ was a box office disaster. This month, Karan Johar will try his hand as a filmmaker at the box office. His film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, will be released on April 28th.
Jawaan and Adipurush
‘Jawaan,’ directed by Atlee, will be released on the first Friday of June. Two weeks later, it’s the turn of ‘Adipurush,’ a film based on Lord Ram’s magnificent form. Along with Telugu actor Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon will appear in this film. Ayushmann Khurrana’s next film, ‘Dream Girl,’ will be released on June 23, and Kartik Aaryan’s charisma will be challenged in the film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha,’ which will be released on June 29.
