Ram Charan daughter: Chiranjeevi and family recently welcomed ‘mega princess’ – Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela’s daughter. The celebrity couple were married in 2012 and have been blissfully happy together for more than ten years. While many of their peers have embraced parenting in their early 20s, Ram Charan and Upasna waited ten years before starting a family. In truth, Upasna had admitted that she did not want to have children during a conversation with Sadhguru.
Upasana Konidela on not wanting children
Upasana Konidela disclosed during a spiritual conversation with Sadhguru that she did not wish to have children. She claimed that population control was the reason behind her choice. “Man is concerned about carbon footprint, but if the human footprint is reduced, there is no need to worry about global warming as well,” Sadhguru responded to her. So it’s encouraging to see females who have chosen not to reproduce.
Upasana had previously stated in an interview that she fears getting pregnant. “Getting pregnant after marriage is my matter. We thought we don’t want kids now. On the other hand, I also have some fears about pregnancy. I am losing weight now. We also have clarity about when to have children,” she said.
Ram Charan on wanting kids
Ram Charan reiterated at the same moment, saying, “As a son of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, I have the responsibility of making fans happy. If I start a family, I may deviate from my mission. Upasana also has a few goals. So, we decided not to have kids for some years”.
Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela are expecting their first child. On one of Ram Charan’s Instagram posts, it was written: “With the blessings of Shri Hanumanji, we are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child.”
