Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with her long–time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. The actress shared beautiful and romantic pictures with him on her social media account. There were a lot of controversies around the wedding and reports stated that the Sinha family isn’t happy with the marriage. Sonakshi’s brother Luv and Kush weren’t seen in the wedding pictures and it sparked speculations that they were not happy with the marriage. There was speculation as to why Luv Sinha did not attend the wedding. His brother Kush Sinha has broken his silence regarding attendance at the wedding.

Luv Sinha didn’t talk about attending the marriage. Sonakshi’s brother Kush Sinha talked to the news portal Hindustan Times regarding attending the marriage of his sister. He said, “I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who’s doing all this right now and where it’s coming from. But a few houses have my images.”
He further added, “It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there. I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer started dating each other 7 years ago and they kept their relationship a secret for several years. The duo worked together in the film Double XL and their chemistry was well liked by the audience. Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot with each other on 23rd June. They had a court marriage under the Special Marriage Act 1954.
