Nayanthara: South Indian superstar Nayanthara has responded to actor Dhanush’s ₹10 crore legal notice. The notice accuses her of using unauthorised clips from their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. In a fiery open letter on social media, she directly addressed Dhanush. She accused him of holding personal grudges and using his influence to obstruct her project.

In her letter, Nayanthara expressed her disappointment over the legal notice, stating that she had waited for over two years for Dhanush’s approval to use clips from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary. Despite multiple requests, she claimed he declined to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC), forcing her team to re-edit the project.

The actress didn’t hold back, criticising Dhanush’s alleged double standards and questioning his moral character. “I wish you were half the person you portray to be on stage in front of your innocent fans,” she wrote, adding that his actions reflected personal vendetta rather than professional concerns. She also highlighted the emotional significance of the film and its music to her career, lamenting how his refusal to permit its use “broke her heart.”
