World Student’s Day: India is celebrating the 91st birth anniversary of Missile man of India, former president and Bharat Ratna recipient Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He was the 11th president of India and he served the nation from the period of 2002 to 2007. United Nations has turned the birthday of Dr. Abdul Kalam as World Student’s Day in the respect of the missile man. Several high profile personalities, Politicians, and people across the world are celebrating this special day. We are presenting a collection of Bollywood movies that you can watch out depicting the bond between the teachers and students.
Black (2005)
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black features popular actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles. The storyline of the film is very simple and impactful. The story lives around the life of a girl named Michelle (Rani Mukheji) who is born with visual and hearing deficiency and the challenges faced by her. In this journey, Debraj (Amitabh Bachchan), who is a teacher, helps her complete her basic education.
Taare Zameen Par (2007)
Aamir Khan and Amole Gupte’s Taare Zameen Par is the story of a 9-year-old student Ishan Awasthi (Dasheel Safary) and his battle with dyslexia. He is looked down upon by his parents for his poor marks in academic. Later Ram (Aamir Khan), an art teacher, helps him find his potential and skills.
3 Idiots (2009)
Popular Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots displays the friendship between three college students and their different outlooks toward life. It is a very simple story that elaborated beautifully by Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi in lead roles.

Stanley Ka Dabba (2011)
This film is one of the most critically impactful films of the century. Stanley Ka Dabba revolves around a student named Stanley (Partho Gupte) who does not carry his lunch. This was noticed by a teacher who forces students to share their lunch with him. The teacher warns Stanley that he must get a lunch box or else he has to face consequences for this.
Hichki (2018)
A comedy-drama film talks about the life of a woman with Tourette syndrome and how she pursues her dream of being a teacher where she turns her weakness into her biggest strength. She is supported by school students in her journey. This movie is co-written and directed by Siddharth P, Malhotra.
Super 30 (2019)
Hrithik Roshan is in the lead role in Super 30. The film encircles around the life of Anand Kumar, a mathematician, who hopes to make his 30 students pass with good marks in IIT.
Angrezi Medium (2020)
Radhika Madan and Late actor Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium is a comedy-drama film directed by Homi Adanjania. The film revolves around the life of a girl who dreams of studying abroad and how her family fulfils her dream to do this.
