Yash: KGF 2’s mammoth success has made Yash as one of the most popular stars of the Indian cinema. Now, According to recent rumors, he is currently in talks with the popular director Shankar Shanmugam for a big-budget movie. The news about the project has been surfacing for quite a time now.
As per the initial reports, the movie could be based on the ‘Valari’ epic. If rumours are to be believed, Netflix and Karan Johar may also join hands for the project. Yash’s movie with Shankar is intended to be an action-packed, effects-heavy historical drama about a conflict. The producers intend to call up the leading actors from South Indian cinema in the movie for significant roles. Reports indicate that the budget for the movie can be around Rs. 1000 crores, which is double of Brahmastra and almost 10x of KGF 2.

Shankar Shanguman, who is known to a pioneer of film direction, was also impressed by KGF 2. He is behind many iconic movies such as Enthiran, I, Aparichit, and so on. When the KGF 2 released, Shankar had tweeted, “Finally saw #KGF2 Cutting edge style Storytelling, Screenplay& Editing. Bold move to intercut action& dialogue, worked beautifully. According to sources, the project may attract major producers across India. The creators hope to unveil a project that becomes a worldwide sensation. KGF 2 was a sensational release for the Indian cinema as it grossed Rs. 1200 crores worldwide. The film had attained the status of ‘cult classic’ and soon became fan’s favorite. As of now, Shankar is working on the significant RC15 project, which stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
