Yashoda Trailer Out: The much-anticipated trailer of Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer was dropped on Thursday. The film sees Samantha playing a surrogate who is bearing a billionaire’s child. Samantha’s Yashoda Trailer Out
Yashoda, a movie written and directed by the Hari-Harish team, centres on the surrogacy debate. The movie appears to take place when commercial surrogacy was commonplace in India, despite the fact that it is currently illegal there. Samantha’s Yashoda is a patient at a sizable facility that houses and cares for women who are willing to rent out their wombs in exchange for money. The problem is that a large corporation is in charge of the entire operation, and wherever a large organisation is involved, we may expect to uncover something quite sinister beneath the surface of the opulent facade. Yashoda appears to trip over something repulsive, which sends her down a painful and brutal beating route.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Hari-Harish the director of the movie said, “The backdrop of the story is about a crime which is happening without the knowledge of anyone in the society. The crime which we are showing is based on a true incident but we have added some psychological thriller flavour to it. It is about a crime that is confronted by a normal girl when she learns about it. How she exposes is the plot”.

Samantha has established herself as a Pan-India star post her stint in The Family Man. The actor has a number of projects in her kitty. She will next be seen in the Indian adaptation of Russo Brothers’ Citadel in which she will share screen space with Varun Dhawan. If rumours are anything to go by, she is also set to star in The Immortal Ashwatthama opposite Vicky Kaushal. She will also star in Kushi along with Vijay Deverakonda.
